About Financiera Independencia

Financiera Independencia was born in 1993 as the first Limited Purpose Financial Company (SOFOL) in Mexico. In 2007, we were incorporated as a Multiple Purpose Financial Company (SOFOM) and in the same year our shares began to be listed on the Mexican Stock Exchange. Our performance has placed us among the largest personal microcredit institutions in Latin America. At Financiera Independencia, we have specialized in offering financial services to low-income individuals between 18 and 65 years of age, with incomes from one to ten minimum wages, who work, both in the formal economic sector and those who are self-employed. Within the Mexican Republic, we operate through our own network of branches, which by the end of 2010 numbered 207 offices. Today we are operating with a solid range of products that keep us in this continuous progress, always obeying the needs of our clients.
