The FidCap Group Munich is an owner, builder, developer, general contractor, as well as investment, asset, property, and facility manager. It was founded in early 2012 by sole managing shareholder Michael A. Gerlich in Munich's old town. Since then, the company has acted as a long-term, sustainability-focused investor, a vertically integrated project developer, and a property holder of real estate exclusively in the Bavarian state capital, with a focus on revitalizing industrial brownfield and old sites into livable and lovable urban quarters. FidCap realizes all projects exclusively with German, long-term institutional capital partners. The FidCap project M-Tower (approx. 35,000 m², now: "Atlas"), the first project under construction in the trendy Werkviertel in eastern Munich, as well as the FidCap project M-Quartier (approx. 40,000 m²), the first commercial new building since the complete withdrawal of the Siemens group from the Obersendling/Thalkirchen districts in southern Munich, have received the highest certification from the German Sustainable Building Council and the world's leading sustainability certificate "Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design," respectively. FidCap Group Munich is a real estate development and investment group based in and focused on Munich, the third largest European office market after London and Paris, and the Munich metro region with a population of 6 million.
