The Federation of Pharmacy Associations of Catalonia (FEFAC), founded in 1990, is the business organization representing pharmacy owners in Catalonia. It is composed exclusively of pharmacy owners. FEFAC brings together the four Catalan business associations: Association of Pharmacies of Barcelona, AFB; Association of Pharmaceutical Entrepreneurs of Girona, AGFE; Association of Business Pharmacists of Lleida, AFELL; and Association of Pharmacy Owners of Tarragona, AFET. Its members represent approximately 60% of pharmacies in Catalonia. FEFAC is a non-profit, voluntary organization whose main objectives are the defense and development of pharmacies from a business and professional perspective, in collaboration with health administrations and for the benefit of the public. To this end, we collaborate with various stakeholders in the sector (professional bodies, pharmaceutical industry, business organizations, patient associations, scientific societies, etc.). We work to communicate to institutions and the public the health, economic, and social responsibility contributions our sector makes to the population and the healthcare system, as well as our needs and demands. We have a job board for all pharmacies in Catalonia.
