Since 1988 in the field of nephrology, Farmarin was a pioneer in the production of Polyelectrolyte Concentrates for Hemodialysis - CPHD in the national market. Initially established to supply some hemodialysis clinics in the city of São Paulo, it experienced exponential growth over the years, meeting the increasing demand for its products. In the year 2000, it moved its facilities to the city of Guarulhos, starting to produce on an industrial scale to serve the national and international market. Currently, it invests in new products to serve the hospital sector in the country. In 2012, it was acquired by Medifarma S.A., the largest Peruvian pharmaceutical company, market leader, in operation since 1964. After the acquisition, Medifarma has made significant investments in Farmarin in infrastructure, cutting-edge technology, and specialized human capital, in line with its quality standards and new product line development. Currently, Medifarma has 7 factories, occupying over 70,000m² in 4 countries in South America and Europe, exporting to 15 countries. It has a large portfolio of pharmaceutical products that includes injectable and oral medications such as: Oncologicals, Antibiotics, Anticoagulants, Anti-inflammatories, Large and Small Volume Parenteral Solutions, among others.
