Farm Club

About Farm Club

Farm Club is an alternative provision farm in St Ives. We work with children who are struggling in mainstream school with the aim of reintegrating them after their time with us. Some are part time students, some are full time. Play is at the heart of Farm Club, not curriculum. We teach life skills, with not such a focus on academics when the students are with us! All of our staff have different skills, bringing a range of activities to our provision. From cooking and animal care to crafts and forest school, there are so many ways we seek to find an alternative way of educating our vulnerable children. A lot of our students come from trauma so creating a safe space is absolutely paramount. Our culture is like a community - we all give and take in equal measure. As a team we are centred around respect and communication to ensure everyone is always supported and feels the confidence to ask for help if they so need - not just from the management team but from all members of staff.
