About Fama Educação

In 2010, Anápolis and the surrounding region gained its newest and most modern Higher Education Institution – Faculdade Metropolitana de Anápolis, better known as FAMA. Accredited by ordinance No. 338 of 2010 by the Ministry of Education, FAMA is located on Avenida Fernando Costa, Vila Jaiara, in Anápolis-Goiás. Currently, there are almost 20 higher education courses in various areas of knowledge, all authorized and recognized by the MEC with excellent grades. And, in August 2024, FAMA becomes a University Center, offering various options for you to invest in your career. FAMA has a total area of approximately 40,000 m², air-conditioned classrooms, equipped laboratories, a digital and physical library, and a large, well-structured common area. Aiming for the best learning experience for its students, FAMA has multidisciplinary laboratories: Anatomy, Nursing, Aesthetics and Cosmetics, Biophysics, Biochemistry, Informatics, Microscopy, and Drawing Studio. FAMA's Library has thousands of book titles in its general collection, with rooms for group study, individual booths, and consultation terminals. FAMA's faculty is made up of experienced, competent, and ethical professionals with doctoral, master's, and specialist degrees, who are always updating themselves to provide our academics with modern and innovative higher education. FAMA adopts several criteria to expand access to higher education. Through professional administration, it offers courses at affordable prices and, most importantly, with quality, combining theory and market practice. Furthermore, FAMA participates in the University for All Program – PROUNI, has an agreement with FIES without requiring a guarantor and OVG, and with city halls and other public bodies and private institutions to offer scholarships for the neediest students. Evolve with us! Come to FAMA.
