Fênix Indústria de Eletrônicos, founded in 2010, is a multinational company belonging to the Foxconn group, founded in 1974, in Taiwan, with an investment of US$ 7.500 million dollars. Today, the group is the largest Chinese exporter and the second largest in the Czech Republic. In Brazil, Fênix maintains its headquarters in Santa Rita do Sapucaí, in the state of Minas Gerais, a city that has become one of the main technology hubs in the country, recognized worldwide as the Electronic Valley. Currently, 150 companies constitute the Electro-electronic Productive Arrangement (APL) of Santa Rita, and they are involved in the development and production of electronics to serve more than 41 countries, in addition to generating about 10,000 jobs.
