Excell Research, Inc is an independent medical research facility dedicated to excellence in conducting the highest quality clinical research. Excell Research, Inc. was founded by Dr. Jelena Kunovac and Dr. Sherry Soefje in 2004. Dr. Kunovac and Dr. Soefje have over 20 years experience in conducting clinical trials in San Diego, California area. Over the past 25 years Dr. Kunovac and Dr. Soefje have dedicated their time and efforts to helping people and families affected by mental illnesses. At Excell Research we partner with pharmaceutical companies in the hopes of discovering new therapies that will improve the lives of patients struggling with mental illness. Excell Research conduct FDA-compliant, Phase II-IV clinical trials for a variety of central nervous system disorders, women's health, pain and other medical conditions. Excell Research offers a full-time staff of research professionals, including: board-certified psychiatrists, ACRP certified research coordinators/assistants, regulatory and quality assurance staff.
