About Evangelizar É Preciso

The Associação Evangelizar É Preciso is a non-profit, apolitical institution supported by the Archdiocese of Curitiba. With the objective of evangelizing through the media, the Work is blessed by Our Lady of Mount Carmel, its godmother, and aims to help Christians awaken and revive their interest in authentic religious practice. Currently, Associação Evangelizar é Preciso is responsible for the programming of the Rede Evangelizar de Comunicação, which includes Rádio Evangelizar AM 1060 (covering Curitiba and the Metropolitan Region), AM 1430 and FM 90.9 (covering southern Paraná and northern Santa Catarina), and FM 99.5, as well as TV Evangelizar. Additionally, it is a national benefactor for thousands of sister radio stations and hundreds of television stations in Brazil and other countries. Headquartered in Curitiba, the Work provides social assistance to needy communities and institutions in Curitiba and the Metropolitan Region, offering free services in law and psychology, conducting educational lectures, and social actions in hospitals, nursing homes, daycare centers, orphanages, and underserved areas, where its volunteers also provide spiritual support and meet local needs by donating clothing, food, and personal hygiene and cleaning products. The Work is sustained by the contributions of its associates, who keep evangelization alive through monthly donations.
