Evangelische Stiftung Volmarstein

About Evangelische Stiftung Volmarstein

Since 1904, the Evangelical Foundation Volmarstein, founded by Pastor Arndt, has been active in the care of the physically disabled and the sick in Wetter (Ruhr) and has developed over the years into a complex institution for diaconal assistance for the disabled, the sick, and also the elderly. In all Volmarstein facilities, more than 3000 children, young people, adults, and seniors, as well as several thousand patients per year, are cared for. The central area of the foundation is located in a scenically idyllic setting on the edge of the Ruhr area between Dortmund, Bochum, and Hagen. Around 4400 employees ensure that the people we care for know they are in good hands.
