About Ev. Johanneswerk gGmbH

The Johanneswerk is a modern diaconal company: around 7,700 employees work in our over 70 facilities throughout North Rhine-Westphalia. We work with people for people – competently, passionately, and creatively. We respect their wishes and possibilities for a self-determined life. We support them to live according to their own choice and to participate in social life. To this end, we cooperate with others and continuously develop ourselves and our services. We mainly work for elderly people who need care or help, people with disabilities, and people with mental illnesses – regardless of their faith and denomination, origin, age, gender, or sexual orientation. At the Ev. Johanneswerk, we all work on a common good work: we care for and support people who need help. The basis of our work is the Christian mandate of neighborly love. In doing so, the professional quality of our work is just as important to us as respectful and appreciative interaction with each other and with residents and clients. Together, we are committed to creating good working conditions and continuously improving them. We are all united by a vision: we want all people to be able to live self-determinedly and in community with dignity. We are convinced that good work requires good working conditions. Our employer promise includes: • We perceive people and value respectful and appreciative interaction with each other and a good atmosphere. • We promote the compatibility of work, family, and private life. • We enable development opportunities with support programs and seminars. • We pay above average. • We offer security. When will you become part of the good work?
