Hijos de Rivera S.A.U. is a Galician company, independent and with 100% national and family capital. In 2016 we celebrated 110 years of history. Our main activity focuses on the manufacturing and distribution of beer. We lead the Premium segment with our most recognized brand, Estrella Galicia, and we are present in the Specialties segment with 1906 Reserva Especial, 1906 Red Vintage, and 1906 Black Coupage. The company also has a wide range of activities covering both the water sector (with the brands Cabreiroá, Agua de Cuevas, and Fontarel) and the distribution of beverages nationwide. Currently, our brands are present throughout Spain and are distributed to more than 30 countries (from Brazil to Australia, including China, Russia, the Philippines, and the United States, among many others). Led by the fourth generation of the family, we are committed to a Premium positioning based on quality, tradition and beer culture, continuous innovation, and excellence. All of this has led us to double our turnover in the last 7 years and exceed 200 million liters produced in 2015. But as much as we talk about growth, internationalization, or diversification, one of our most important challenges is to train and develop the best teams within the best professional environment.
