About Escoles Garbí Pere Vergés

At Escoles Garbí Pere Vergés we educate the men and women of tomorrow as proactive citizens who can transform society. We help each of our students, on a personalized basis from ages 3 to 18, to reach their maximum potential so they can lead and develop their own life project in the coming decades with autonomy and critical thinking. This is what our founder Pere Vergés started at the Escola del Mar a hundred years ago and it is what we continue to do in the 21st century in our schools in Esplugues and Badalona, with an updated, experiential methodology based on project-based learning. Garbí Pere Vergés is organized as a School City in which students hold positions and responsibilities necessary for the proper functioning of the school. This is how they learn to transform the world around them. A world that will need people capable of thinking, feeling, and loving.
