The Public Mental Health Establishment of the Lille conurbation provides care for people suffering from mental disorders within the population of 540,000 inhabitants of Lille, Roubaix, Villeneuve d’Ascq and surrounding areas. It is part of the GHT (Territorial Hospital Group) of Psychiatry of the North Pas-de-Calais, with the EPSM Lille-Métropole, des Flandres and Val-de-Lys Artois. The EPSM of the Lille conurbation manages 403 beds, 40 places in a Specialized Accommodation Center, 132 places for part-time hospitalization, 27 Medical-Psychological Centers (CMP) / Part-Time Therapeutic Reception Centers (CATTP), 24 therapeutic apartments, 2 therapeutic workshops, 8 places for Therapeutic Family Placement, 1 Access Point for Health Care (PASS), 1 support system for those with suicidal thoughts, 1 perinatal support system, 2 educational success support systems, 1 addiction department (with a health component, an EHLSA and a medico-social component CSAPA), 1 training center, 2 systems focused on precariousness. The total active patient base of the EPSM of the Lille conurbation was 22,652 patients in 2017, with 90% of care exclusively outpatient, i.e. in CMP, CATTP, VAD, liaison psychiatry. Among this population, the EPSM of the Lille conurbation welcomed 10,000 new patients (RIMP 2017 figures). The EPSM of the Lille conurbation currently has 1,496 professionals including 99 doctors, 994 caregivers and rehabilitation staff (including 80 psychologists), 9 medico-technical staff, 75 socio-educational staff, 171 administrative staff, 148 technical and logistical staff.
