About Entraide Union

Founded in 1954, Entraide Union is an association operating in the social, medico-social, and health sectors. It has nearly 60 establishments and services that welcome people of all ages in great difficulty or with disabilities, as well as children for child protection. Over the years, it has adapted its organization, modernized its practices, diversified its fields of intervention, and kept pace with sector developments to offer optimal quality of service to the 6,000 users supported by 1,500 employees. The association's mission is the operational implementation of social utility actions in line with public policies of the State, through the Ministry of Health, as well as those of the National Education, Judicial Protection of Youth, and departmental councils. Entraide Union is strongly committed to a network dynamic. It develops and formalizes partnerships with various stakeholders: hospitals, universities, local authorities, and representative associations in the field of disability and child protection. As a managing body, in an active citizenship approach, it is driven by secular and volunteer activists and employs 1,500 employees. Born "Entraide Universitaire", the association changed its name in 2021 to gain coherence between its name, the reality of its interventions with the most vulnerable, and the link between its teams, in line with the orientations of its 2020-2024 Associative Project, whose watchwords are sustainable development, inclusion, quality of work life, citizenship, and fluid pathways.
