ENAC is the designated organization to operate as the accreditation body of Spain. Our mission is to evaluate the technical competence of laboratories, inspection, certification or verification bodies, among others, which are generically called conformity assessment bodies (CABs), thus contributing to increasing confidence in the safety and quality of products and services and, therefore, providing the utmost guarantees in the safety and well-being of people, environmental protection, and the competitiveness of Spanish products and services. The accreditation is based on a rigorous evaluation carried out by a professional team of a high technical level that audits the assessment bodies in accordance with international standards. Therefore, ENAC needs to continually count on the collaboration of people with a high professional level who have in-depth knowledge of the activity carried out by the CAB and can, therefore, issue a professional judgment on whether said activity is being executed with the appropriate level of competence.
