ENSICAEN

About ENSICAEN

ENSICAEN, a public post-secondary institution, trains high-level scientific and technical engineers in: - Physical Engineering and Embedded Systems (student and apprenticeship status) - Computer Science (student and apprenticeship status) - Materials-Chemistry (student and apprenticeship status) - Industrial Engineering (ITII) It also awards a Specialized Master's degree. With a new apprenticeship program, the opening of the Master's Degree from EM Normandie, and the creation of a FabLab, ENSICAEN is constantly adapting to offer teaching and training focused on innovation. Located in the heart of Épopéa, north of Caen, a vast teaching and research campus (GANIL, Cyceron…), the school relies on the work of its teacher-researchers hosted at ENSICAEN in the 6 joint laboratories with the CEA, CNRS, and the University of Caen Normandie to define its educational programs, always in line with the latest scientific advances. Our partnerships with universities, grandes écoles, companies, competitiveness clusters (Pôle TES, Nextmove) and sectors like Normandie AeroEspace or Normandie Énergies ensure rapid professional integration for our engineering students. Their skill development is fostered through numerous industrial or research projects undertaken during their studies. These projects provide opportunities to gain exposure to project management and experience teamwork, which is essential for an open innovation approach. With over 90 agreements and exchange programs with universities worldwide, the school implements an active policy of international exchange and development to facilitate the mobility of engineering students and the obtention of double degrees. Finally, ENSICAEN cultivates its human dimension by supporting student offices. A variety of activities are offered by over 50 clubs and associations for a vibrant student life.
