About emeis Italia

The history of the emeis Group began in 1989, when a neuropsychiatrist opened his first nursing home in Saujon, Charente-Maritime. With the construction of new facilities, the Emeis Group was created. Today the Group is present in more than 20 countries, mainly in Europe, and covers a complete offering of mental health clinics, medical and rehabilitative care, nursing homes, assisted living facilities, and home care, with almost 1,000 facilities and 76,000 employees. In 2024, ORPEA becomes EMEIS, reflecting its values and reason for being and adopting a mission statement: we are committed to mobilizing our innovative strength to help those in a state of fragility to regain or preserve their strengths and abilities, to cultivate their will to live, and to give confidence and serenity to their loved ones. The brand identifies facilities with a high level of social and health services and high hotel comfort where the centrality of the person, their psychophysical well-being, and their safety are the founding values and the daily commitment of our highly specialized teams, always attentive to the needs of each guest and patient.
