About EM C2

EMC2 is a cooperative company, specializing in the agri-food sector. The EMC2 group has more than 3,100 members, more than 800 employees and is ranked among the ten largest French grain collectors. We are located in Bras-sur-Meuse, and operate in about twenty departments. The history of the EMC2 cooperative began in 1988 when three cooperatives merged: the Coopérative Agricole de la Meuse, the Coopérative Lorraine Nord and part of the Coopérative Agricole Meuse Ornain. In 1996, CADAC, present in Haute-Marne, joined the cooperative, followed respectively by the livestock cooperatives ALOTIS and CAPEVAL, in 2007 and 2011. Today, we are a multi-business cooperative. The work of EMC2 employees is thus to direct agricultural production towards markets, to seek the most suitable agronomic solutions for the specificities of the regions, to distribute the necessary products and equipment, and to group, assemble and market cereals. The cooperative is also a shareholder of Vivescia Industries, which provides it with numerous industrial tools to operate in various sectors such as corn, animal feed, malt, bakery or biofuels.
