About Elk Island Public Schools

In Elk Island Public Schools (EIPS), we are committed to preparing children for the future. With excellent teaching standards, diverse and responsive programs, current technology, and well-maintained facilities, there is no better place to begin your child’s education than in one of our exceptional schools. EIPS is one of Alberta’s largest school systems, serving approximately 17,950 students in 42 schools. We're proud to be an integral part of our communities, including Sherwood Park, Fort Saskatchewan, Vegreville, Strathcona and Lamont counties, and the western portion of the County of Minburn.
