ELECTRO DEPOT is a brand of the United group (Boulanger, Krëfel...). Created in August 2003, this concept is strongly inspired by American and European Low Cost retail brands (e.g., COSTCO or COLRUYT). It has been included in the "Great Place To Work" ranking of French companies where it is good to work for three years, placing in the TOP10 each time. ELECTRO DEPOT is based on a doubly innovative concept in its distribution model and its human aspect. Its human policy and team management are indeed exceptional in the Low Cost world. A true alternative to traditional retail, ELECTRO DEPOT covers all household equipment needs (home appliances, image, sound, multimedia...) and is aimed at all those who want to buy useful, simple, smart, and inexpensive. Located on the outskirts of major cities, the warehouses cover areas of 1,500 to 2,000 m2 and opt for simplicity. No superfluous decoration, priority is given to products and prices. Products are presented on pallets, in their original packaging and cartons. They are new and of first choice. In 2025, the brand has 103 stores across France, 13 in Belgium, and 5 in Spain, 1 online store, and over 2,200 employees. ELECTRO DEPOT also wants to develop an ambitious Human Resources policy, reflecting a company where it is good to live and work, with an internal Academy to promote its employees, recruitment in all its trades, a motivating global remuneration system... Today, to this LowCost foundation, we want to ADD THE LOW IMPACT ATTITUDE: the planet needs it, our customers will increasingly demand it every day with the goal of producing less carbon for more solidarity!
