The birth of the Brazilian Israeli Albert Einstein Benevolent Society in the 1950s resulted from the Jewish community's commitment to offering the Brazilian population a benchmark in quality medical practice. But the Society wanted to go beyond the simple construction of a hospital. And so it was done, built with resources from donations and the work of a group of dedicated people, the Albert Einstein Israeli Hospital was inaugurated in 1971. Since then, it has become a reference in treatments with cutting-edge technology, humanized care, and has expanded its borders with social responsibility actions and teaching and research activities. Today, the Brazilian Israeli Albert Einstein Benevolent Society leads important projects that show how public-private partnership can yield results for the community. Housed in the Albert Einstein Israeli Institute of Education and Research, education and research activities are the engine of innovation that are not restricted to patients of the Albert Einstein Israeli Hospital and encompass technical, undergraduate and postgraduate courses, sophisticated training, and clinical and experimental research. Einstein is today a health system. Our seeds spread on several fronts and addresses, multiplying fruits for the benefit of patients, society, and the Public Health System.
