Egon is a pure restaurant success with headquarters in Trondheim. Since its establishment in 1984, we have had fantastic growth that we are incredibly proud of. In 2018, we had a turnover of 1.52 billion. Wide Selection We are proud of this, and we are constantly working to improve. We receive approximately 40 offers annually to establish new Egon restaurants both domestically and internationally, but we choose to decline most of them as we do not want to become too large. Our goal is to have a wide selection of different restaurant concepts near our restaurants to build a varied restaurant offering for our customers. You Know What You Get Our guests like our concept, food, and service. We are committed to maintaining the concept and invest approximately 25-30 million to build a new restaurant. Annually, we spend a lot of time and resources on menu and concept development to satisfy a broad audience across the country. We are uncompromising on our concept - Egon must have exactly the same concept in all restaurants. We are also proud of our employees. We have dedicated employees who work hard every day to provide service to all our guests. In the industry, we are among those with the lowest sickness absence, lowest employee turnover, and management turnover. This is also one of the success factors for the concept. The Guest Being a guest at Egon should be an experience and a break from everyday life. You should feel that you are at a restaurant through the service, food, and surroundings. Everyone should feel at home with us! Honesty in All Areas Our policy is that we shall act honestly, fairly, and correctly both internally and externally. This is something we focus strongly on towards all our employees, suppliers, partners, authorities, and not least our guests. We will lead by example and be a counterbalance to the bad impression many have of the restaurant industry. Therefore, we work closely with Norwegian authorities to control our routines, general operations, and accounting. We are committed to maintaining our high standards in this regard. This has also led to us being used as a consultation body for the authorities in several contexts. Opening Hours All Egon restaurants should in principle be open every day except Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. Public holidays generally follow the same opening hours as Sundays. The kitchen should remain open for as long as the advertised opening hours.
