Founded in 1985 by Dr. Clemens Lee, the Chinatown Multi-Level Care Foundation was established to address the need for culturally appropriate senior care in Edmonton’s Chinese community. After years of dedication and fundraising, the Edmonton Chinatown Care Centre opened in 2004, providing long-term care and assisted living services. Building on nearly two decades of experience, the organization expanded its vision to serve a broader senior population. In 2022, it rebranded as LeeCaring Communities, reflecting its commitment to compassionate, resident-centered care. In 2023, it opened its second location, HolSome Place, a 136-bed continuing care home focused on holistic and inclusive care. Our Mission: To create resident-focused communities that are respectful, caring and compassionate, where residents are encouraged to live each day with purpose and belonging. Continuous Improvement: We strive to continually improve our care and services.
