About ECM Ecole de Commerce et Management

The School of Commerce and Management was established in 1995 in the La Fayette business park in Besançon (25). It achieved rapid success by offering work-study programs from the National Education system accessible after the Baccalaureate, enabling it to become the benchmark school for tertiary BTS (Baccalaureate Technician Certificate) in work-study. The school's governance later aligned in 2004 with the Conservatoire National des Arts et Métiers, a large public institution under the supervision of the Ministry of Higher Education. Through its partnership with Cnam Bourgogne Franche-Comté, it offered for the first time in the region the possibility of accessing State-recognized Bachelor's and Master's degrees in business school through work-study. ECM has also partnered with other institutions offering prestigious degrees such as IGS-RH and ESAM, providing Bac+4 / Bac+5 qualifications. In 2007, ECM aimed to become a regional reference and established a second campus at the Techn’hom in Belfort. In 2018, a third training site was developed in partnership with Cnam Bourgogne-Franche-Comté within the city of Dijon. In 2021, ECM Mulhouse was founded, offering Bachelor's and MSc programs from ICD Business School, ESAM, and IGS-RH through work-study. ECM Strasbourg, located at the European Business Space in Schiltigheim, was inaugurated in 2022. The ECM Nancy campus further strengthened the School's presence in the Grand-Est region in the fall of 2023. Today, the six campuses receive over 4000 applications from students wishing to join these degree programs and serve over 5000 companies seeking apprentices or continuing education for executives and managers. ECM has become an essential school of commerce and management by specializing in six fields: Marketing-Communication, Commerce-Sales, Real Estate, Human Resources, Corporate Finance – Management Control, Strategic Management.
