The Duden Institutes for Learning Therapy help children and adolescents overcome reading and spelling difficulties (dyslexia, LRS), math difficulties (dyscalculia), and LRS in English. The foundation of the support is the concept of integrative learning therapy, which combines subject-specific didactics with methods from speech, occupational, and family therapy. Support is provided after individual consultation and diagnostics at nearly 100 locations in Germany. For German-speaking children and adolescents attending school abroad, there is the Duden Institute for Learning Therapy "International-Online". To be able to conduct learning therapies nationwide, we have organized ourselves as a partner system. The headquarters is in Berlin and operates two of its own institutes. With 6,000 clients annually, around 500 full-time employees, 200 freelance staff, and 50 independent institute directors, the Duden Institutes for Learning Therapy are one of the leading providers and employers in the field of learning therapy. Together, we ensure that learning difficulties in children and adolescents are individually compensated for and resolved. Currently, there is a demand for around 5,000 learning therapists in Germany, with only about 1,500 trained specialists available.
