DSM Keukens, a family business since 1919. The inspiring story of DSM Keukens began just after World War I in 1919. Honoré De Geetere, Koen De Schepper's great-grandfather, had a modest shop selling hardware, agricultural machinery, and kitchenware in the center of Nevele. Thirty years later, his daughter Antoinette De Geetere took over the sales. Under her influence, the range of kitchenware expanded significantly. She married André De Schepper in 1958. The family business continued to flourish under this second generation. Antoinette and André had a son, Koenraad De Schepper. Son Koen took over the family business with his wife Fabienne Martens in 1982. The name DSM comes from the initials of De Schepper and Martens. Together with their children Sofie and Tim, they are still at the helm today. Sofie is responsible for innovation and marketing, while Tim has been in charge of purchasing since 2018. The 4th generation is ready to write the next chapter of this success story. The focus is on further sustainable growth in Flanders and a significant expansion in Wallonia.
