Born from the merger, in early 2018, of the Méquignon Foundation and CFPE establishments, Droit d'Enfance welcomes and supports children and adolescents (from 3 months to 21 years old) facing multiple social and family difficulties: educational deficiencies, parental conflicts, parental addiction, mistreatment... Droit d'Enfance aims to protect and support the children entrusted to it, to develop new skills in professionals, and to effectively advocate for the protection of children. Following the merger with CFPE, Droit d'Enfance also takes on the responsibility and management of the European emergency number 116 000 dedicated to families of missing minors and supports families affected by these disappearances. The jurists and psychologists of 116 000 are tasked with listening to and helping people who call the emergency number, whether in the context of runaways, parental abductions in France or abroad, or worrying disappearances of minors. 1200 families are supported each year, from the child's disappearance until their return. Given the scale of this tragedy, Droit d'Enfance is committed to increasing the visibility of 116 000 and assisting families who are facing the disappearance of their child. Finally, since October 2018, Droit d'Enfance has officially become the French representative of the International Social Service (ISS): an international non-governmental organization that supports children and families facing complex social issues related to migration. Would you like to support the Foundation while developing your CSR policy and continuing your company's solidarity commitment (skills sponsorship, financial sponsorship, project support, partnerships...), do not hesitate to contact our communication department (contact details available on our website).
