Be part of our story. Thousands of people in El Salvador, Guatemala, Colombia, and now Peru thought that buying low-cost products was synonymous with poor quality until Dollarcity arrived. With an innovative business model, it came to shatter that paradigm that many believed was set in stone. We are a company of Central American origin, dedicated to adding value to our customers through good quality products at an excellent price in an agile, efficient, and human-focused way. Since 2009 with our first store in El Salvador: Metrocentro, we have revolutionized the retail industry in the market with our product assortment, clean and organized environments, and above all, the passion and commitment of our teams. In this way, we form a team of a little more than 5,000 people with more than 500 stores distributed in El Salvador, Guatemala, Colombia, and Peru. Since 2013, Dollarcity has been working together with Dollarama, a leading company in the Canadian market with more than 1,200 stores, which, just like Dollarcity, has managed to become an example by exceeding customer expectations through a diversity of good products at excellent prices. The union between Dollarama and Dollarcity was formalized in July 2019 with an expansion plan of more than 225 new stores in the next five years and generating more job opportunities in the Latin American region.
