About Diakonie der Evang. Brüdergemeinde Korntal

Together. Places of Hope. Shaping. It all began 200 years ago with a kreuzer. Since then, Diakonie Korntal-Wilhelmsdorf has been in the service of people. The focus of our work is in the areas of pedagogy and old-age care. At our locations in Korntal and Wilhelmsdorf, we operate several daycare centers and youth welfare facilities with outpatient, partial inpatient, and inpatient services, as well as a school for educational assistance at each location. In Korntal, we also maintain a senior center with services in assisted living, short-term care, and long-term care. Our Korntal School Farm promotes awareness among children and adolescents for nature, animals, the environment, healthy eating, and creation. Diakonie is sustained by people who are willing to serve others. Friends and supporters also repeatedly help us with monetary, in-kind, and time donations. This commitment means a great deal to us. Through our membership in the Diakonisches Werk Württemberg, we are connected with other diaconal institutions in the state and beyond.
