DEPRODECA, a company with US$1.0 billion in sales (as of 2011) and over 2,000 direct and indirect collaborators, is the commercial arm of the Food business in Peru for Grupo Gloria. It operates 15 sales offices nationwide, reaching 135,000 points of sale and exporting to over 60 countries. Its acronym stands for Distributor of Exclusive Quality Products. The company is in charge of Marketing, Sales, Distribution, and Exports for the 3 business lines we operate: Dairy, Non-Carbonated Beverages, and Non-Dairy Foods. We are the market leader in Peru for Dairy and number 2 in Non-Carbonated Beverages. Our main brands are Gloria, Pura Vida, Bella Holandesa, Milkito, Bonlé, Soy Vida, and Tampico. With 80% of the milk and yogurt market, we have driven per capita dairy consumption in the country, increasing from an "eternal" 45 kg per person to 71 kg by 2011. In yogurt, we went from 0.5 to 5.2 kg per person. We have achieved this through product innovation, multi-segmented marketing strategies, and go-to-market development, using the multi-brand strategy as a business development platform. Grupo Gloria is an industrial conglomerate that operates in 4 sectors: Food, Agribusiness, Cements, and Packaging. It has a turnover of US$2.6 billion and has industrial operations in 7 countries: Peru, Puerto Rico, Colombia, Ecuador, Bolivia, Argentina, and Uruguay.
