SANTA CECÍLIA was founded on June 10, 1974, in the community of Nova Brasília located in the Bonsucesso neighborhood, Rio de Janeiro municipality. Given the company's acceptance in the market, SANTA CECÍLIA faced the need for physical and horizontal growth and moved to the Rocha Miranda neighborhood, Rio de Janeiro municipality, which to this day is the company's headquarters. In the early 80s, the company increased its area by more than 2,500m² and began to stand out in the recycling market. Given the constant growth and visionary spirit, in 1996 SANTA CECÍLIA launched stationary compactor bins on the market, a novelty at the time and quite common today. The company was also a pioneer in the waste equipment market and launched 1,100-liter plastic containers, 7m³ compactor bins, known as P07, closed 35.0m³ dumpsters for hazardous waste, 02 and 04-wheel container tilters, and many other innovative equipment and processes. Due to the number of potential clients acquired, SANTA CECÍLIA, with courage, determination, and solid administration, continued its growth and soon became one of the main companies in this activity in the State of Rio de Janeiro.
