Decker has been a family-owned and operated company since 1931. Our Corporate Headquarters is located in the American Heartland, Fort Dodge, Iowa. From our humble beginnings in 1931 with a single Model B Ford, Decker has grown alongside our customers. We are proud to serve some of the same shippers today that we served in the early 1930’s. Decker is a diversified carrier with capabilities to transport flatbed freight (wallboard, steel, etc.), refrigerated freight (meat, ice cream products, pharmaceuticals, etc.) and van freight (grocery products, machine parts, paper products, etc.) throughout North America. Decker is built on strong Midwestern morals. These values include exceeding customer's expectations, safety, professional driver retention, an outstanding staff, and state-of-the-art facilities. Along with the corporate office and terminal in Fort Dodge, Iowa, we have locations strategically placed across the United States located in Iowa (Des Moines, Mediapolis), and Birmingham, Alabama. We were recently named one of North America's Best Fleets to Drive For the 5th year in a row, and North America's 2025 #1 Large Carrier to Drive For!
