About Dayananda Sagar University

Dayananda Sagar University (DSU) is a future-ready global university built on the 70+ year legacy of Dayananda Sagar Institutions, founded by the late Sri Dayananda Sagar with a mission to take knowledge to the people and shape leaders for a rapidly evolving world. Where tradition meets deep technology, DSU is redefining higher education through advanced research, entrepreneurship, and industry-aligned learning. A defining milestone in this journey is the establishment of an NVIDIA AI Factory in academia, powered by 20 nodes of DGX B200 systems. This places DSU among the universities with the highest academic compute power globally, and the highest across the Global South, including China, Japan, and Singapore. Excluding the UK and USA, DSU stands among the most compute-intensive academic research institutions worldwide. DSU maintains strong industry and technology partnerships through strategic Memoranda of Understanding with Siemens, Bosch Rexroth, AWS, and Tata Technologies, enabling students and researchers to work on real-world problems across AI, engineering, manufacturing, and digital transformation. With state-of-the-art infrastructure, internationally benchmarked programs, and a vibrant, innovation-driven campus culture, DSU prepares learners not just for careers, but for leadership in an AI-first, interconnected global economy. Admissions are merit-driven through academic performance and the DSU Aptitude Test (DSAT), while also recognizing excellence in sports, arts, culture, leadership, community development, debating, and quizzing. DSU stands at the intersection of legacy and the future, building talent, technology, and impact at global scale.
