About Dataport AöR

We provide IT for public administration: whether data center, end devices, networks, or application software – we supply everything that administration needs to work. We also offer comprehensive services to the public sector. Our range of services extends from IT procurement and training to project management and consulting. We are the full-service provider for administration. Our company is unique in Germany. Six federal states and a municipal IT network are our sponsors. We work for the state administrations of Hamburg, Bremen, Schleswig-Holstein, and Saxony-Anhalt, for the tax administrations of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania and Lower Saxony, and for many municipal administrations in Schleswig-Holstein. We are an institution under public law with our company headquarters in Altenholz near Kiel. We operate branches in Hamburg, Rostock, Bremen, Lüneburg, Magdeburg, Halle, and Potsdam. Our company has 5,500 employees and is expected to achieve a turnover of 1.42 billion euros in 2024.
