The systems developed are mainly video, communication, and radar. The main activities carried out are: Analog Signal Processing HW Design Digital Signal Processing HW/FW/SW Design Embedded Control Systems HW/FW/SW Design Asic prototyping on Fpga devices Sub-System Production, Assembly, Testing and Integration High Technology Consulting The main applications worked on are: Ground, Shipborne and Airborne RADARS Radar Video Transmission and Presentation for Airport Surveillance Real-time control systems for Industrial Military and Space Applications Telecom processing and management systems Digital Radio Safety power supply system for the "Artificial Heart" electro-medical device Video and audio storage applications for air traffic control centers Control and processing system of a radar sensor for geological analysis Remote control system for residential buildings (home automation) Sensors for surveillance systems We handle Design (software, hardware, firmware), development, manufacturing, and testing of systems, subsystems, analog and digital boards for civil, industrial, military, and space applications. D&P has gained extensive experience in systems for detecting and locating moving vehicles, particularly in "SMCGS" Surface Movement Guidance and Control Systems, providing the processing and presentation units used in many Italian and foreign airports (Linate and Frankfurt). Significant effort has been invested in wideband acquisition systems, leading to the commercialization of a series of high-performance A/D and D/A conversion modules and the development of a series of boards with high real-time signal processing capabilities, combining the potential of FPGAs with that of DSPs. D&P has experimented with high-level applications within the Space Segment in the development of the digital architecture of the Nemosat microsatellite.
