About Crutchfield

Crutchfield has been one of the most trusted names in consumer electronics for nearly fifty years. From the very start our founder Bill Crutchfield set out to provide shoppers with the advice and confidence they needed to enjoy their new gear. Over 6 million customers later, he and his founding principles continue to guide our company. By providing innovative tools like our vast vehicle fit database and our speaker auditioning technology, we empower our customers to find everything they need from top brands, backed by lifetime tech support, on our comprehensive ecommerce site. When they need to speak to a well-trained, friendly Advisor for advice, someone is always a call or chat away. It's this level of service that has earned us Bizrate’s “Circle of Excellence” Platinum Award for 22 years in a row. And our customers aren’t the only people we wholeheartedly support… Named one of the “Best Places to Work in Virginia” for the fifth time in 2024, Crutchfield is a place where behind-the-scenes collaboration thrives. With over 600 employees, all located in our home state of Virginia, we have built a culture of mutual respect that energizes everything we do. In short, we take what we do seriously, and have fun doing it.
