About Counties Energy Ltd

Counties Energy is at the centre of our region, connecting power to around 50,000 homes, farms and businesses. Our primary responsibility is to build, maintain and operate the electricity network that powers our homes and businesses, underpinning the reliability that our community relies upon daily. Stretching coast to coast between southern Papakura and Mercer and west of the Waikato River from Mercer to Waikaretu – we're proud to have been powering the region for over 100 years. From our roots as an electricity distribution network to a technology and energy business, we’re committed to keeping the lights on for our communities.
