About Corlann

Corlann is the new name for Brothers of Charity Services Ireland, carrying forward the strong legacy of decades of service and building on the solid foundation that has shaped who we are today. Corlann provides services to more than 6,000 people each year who have an intellectual disability, including those who also have autism. Funded under Section 38 of the Health Act, we remain deeply committed to a person-centred approach—one that honours each individual’s strengths, aspirations, and rights. Our aim is always to provide, as far as possible, personalised supports that empower people to identify and achieve their own life goals, and to live as valued, equal, and active citizens in their communities.
