We are a charity providing health and wellbeing services, helping people unleash their unique potential and live healthier, safer and more fulfilling lives. Our services respond to a wide range of people’s physical and mental health needs, and lifestyle behaviours such as smoking, drugs and alcohol, sexual health, emotional health, healthy eating and healthy relationships. Universal services include school nursing and mental health services to school aged children and families delivering prevention and early help initiatives including screening, promotion, professionals’ training and 1:1/group support. Targeted services offer early help for people at risk of developing additional health and wellbeing needs resulting from risky lifestyle behaviours. This includes aftercare support for people finishing specialist treatment. Specialist services provide behaviour change interventions for people needing more structured care via a range of talking therapies and prescribing services. This includes applications for residential rehabilitation and inpatient detox. Our vision is that all people have their health and wellbeing needs identified early, before problems escalate and people are given the right care and support, at the right time, by the right professional. Our mission is where everyone gets the same access to help early, irrespective of background and circumstances so they can realise their talent and reach their true potential. Our ethos is to act with integrity, treating others with decency, fairness and being honest in all that we do. We value each other by respecting the needs, skills, diversity and views of each person, irrespective of status. We are solution focused, responding flexibly and adapting quickly to current and emerging needs. We are consistent and reliable, always delivering on our commitments. This includes competitive salaries including a London Weighing Allowance (where applicable), 27 days annual leave plus statutory holidays, increasing to 32 days after 5 years service, a generous contributory pension scheme, a childcare voucher scheme allowing you to give up part of your salary at source to buy childcare vouchers (meaning you pay less tax and national insurance), and enhanced maternity and paternity pay (dependent upon length of service). We are committed to the wellbeing of all of our staff (paid and non paid) and know the impact of having a healthy and happy workforce. We offer protected time for support and reflection (supervision), ‘Time out’ and ‘team building’ days, flexible working arrangements to work around your family circumstances – all staff can request this and we accommodate wherever possible, an Employee Assistance Programme where you can access a number of benefits including independent, confidential advice over the phone or face-to-face on a range of issues for you and your immediate family (e.g. mental health, legal advice etc.), and occupational health support.
