The Communauté de Communes de la Vallée de Chamonix Mont-Blanc comprises four municipalities: Servoz, Les Houches, Chamonix-Mont-Blanc, and Vallorcine, with a permanent population of nearly 14,000 inhabitants. A total workforce of 570 permanent employees and around a hundred seasonal or reinforcement agents enables the municipalities and the community of municipalities to offer a public service close to the population with a constant concern for quality. For several years, the community has made its priorities: encouraging eco-mobility, preserving natural spaces and raising public awareness, ecological transition, cross-border cooperation, strengthening social ties, supporting a local and responsible economy, water management and control, waste reduction and recovery, the emergence of sustainable tourism, the development of an active cultural policy, and finally, international outreach through sport. These are all essential areas of work to guarantee and develop the quality of life for the valley's citizens, for which each agent is responsible daily in their professional activity. The community offers very diverse jobs and careers: permanent, non-permanent, seasonal, administrative, and technical positions, all contributing to improving the daily lives of our permanent residents, second-home owners, and tourists.
