About Comgrid Research

At Comgrid Research, we believe the physical world is constantly telling us when something is about to fail—we just haven't been listening. Current smart infrastructure relies heavily on expensive, high-bandwidth optical cameras. But cameras have massive blind spots: they are rendered useless by heavy fog, rain, or smoke, and they are inherently reactive—telling you a disaster has happened only after it occurs. Comgrid Research is building the "nervous system" for modern infrastructure. We develop ultra-low-cost, high-density acoustic mesh networks that utilize decentralized Edge AI to transform physical sounds into actionable, real-time safety telemetry. By deploying low-power listening nodes every 100 meters, our systems detect the microscopic acoustic anomalies—like bearing friction in industrial HVAC plants, or tire delamination before a highway blowout—weeks before they turn into catastrophic fires or fatal collisions.
