COLUN

About COLUN

COLUN is a Chilean cooperative that belongs to more than 760 cooperative members, located in the Los Ríos and Los Lagos regions, where nature is generous and cows graze in green and abundant meadows. The result of this is a nutritious and high-quality milk. In this way, COLUN packages fresh and natural milk that it receives solely from its cooperative members, and produces all its products at the source, bringing the magic of the south to all homes in Chile. COLUN was born in 1949, when a group of 70 dairy farmers from the south of the country joined together to form a cooperative that would allow them to collect their milk, produce the richest and most natural dairy products, and distribute them throughout Chile. Since its origins, the Cooperativa Agrícola y Lechera de La Unión has maintained a democratic model, where one member represents one vote, also based on the values of collaboration, teamwork, and mutual aid.
