Employees across our Pipeline Health organization have indicated that the work they do is meaningful to them. We are here 24/7, providing excellent emergency care, among other services. Among our recent accomplishments: Developed an innovative Behavioral Health Unit to expand access to services of critical need in the community, which is expected to become a model for mental health support in our country. Received three-year accreditation from The Joint Commission, demonstrating our commitment to continuous improvement in patient care and signaling to our patients that the hospital is committed to providing safe, quality care. Expanded to offer a full range of imaging services including MRI, CT and ultrasound. Cultivated growth in the Workman’s Compensation surgical program, bringing in multiple orthopedic specialties, including general, hand, total joint, arthroscopic and neuro spine--producing good outcomes and growing volume with complex cases. Secured a large FQHC with multiple locations in Los Angeles and the Inland Empire to assist in offering additional social service and primary care resources to the Behavioral Health patients, especially those most at risk. Our hospital is conveniently located next to several freeways -- the 91, 605, 5 and 105 -- and we offer free parking. Coast Plaza Hospital is a part of the Pipeline Health system, along with our four affiliated hospitals: Memorial Hospital of Gardena, Community Hospital of Huntington Park and East Los Angeles Hospital. Together, we have created an innovative Patient Hub – a transfer center that moves eligible patients from other hospitals to available beds in our hospitals for quality care.
