DELA is a cooperative of almost 3 million members. Together you are stronger: DELA grew from that combative conviction and is still growing. To this end, we develop a wide range of services with which we support our members and their families with advice and action. Achieving our ambitions requires commitment, integrity, and entrepreneurship from our employees. That is what we stand for and that is also reflected in our view on employers. We work results-oriented: together we make agreements about goals and evaluate whether this is going well. Our opportunities for working from home and flexible working align with this. DELA considers it important that employees work with pride and pleasure. To measure whether colleagues also experience it that way, we participate in the Great Place to Work survey. Our cooperative ranked 7th in the list of Best Employers of 2015. In the Netherlands, DELA is the market leader. This means we are the largest insurer and provider of funerals. DELA also arranges the most burials and cremations in Belgium. And as an insurer, we are the largest. DELA has more than 1,550 employees in the Netherlands.
