Mihara Tofu Ten's parent company is Mihara Foods, founded in Kashima City, Saga Prefecture in 1959, manufacturing tofu, soy milk, and other food products. Mihara Foods was born in a naturally rich area with the Hamagawa river flowing through it. It began as a small tofu shop, initially delivering 10 blocks of tofu by rickshaw to town for sale. What supports Mihara Foods' tofu production is the beautiful water of Kashima and carefully selected domestic soybeans, primarily from Saga Prefecture. The satisfying tofu, packed with the rich flavor of soybeans, is born from an exquisite blend of Kashima's water and domestic soybeans that change with the seasons. Mihara Foods' theme is "Joy within the Body." They create "Itcho Isshin" (One Block, One Heart) with the wish that people feel the joy of connecting with others and the joy of eating delicious food within their bodies. That sentiment has been delivered through various tofu products not only within Kyushu, including Saga Prefecture, but also across the country. Mihara Tofu Ten offers dishes made with Mihara Foods' tofu and soy milk. As a place to communicate the new possibilities of tofu and soy milk, it plays a part in the inheritance and development of tofu culture. You can enjoy numerous creative tofu dishes, such as "Maboroshi no Atsuage" (phantom thick fried tofu) and "Buta Negi Shabu" (pork and green onion shabu-shabu), befitting a restaurant directly managed by a tofu shop. The first floor is a restaurant space, and the second floor operates as a bar called "Mihara no Nikai" offering obanzai (Kyoto-style home cooking) and small dishes. Additionally, at "TOFFEE," a soy latte specialty shop, they offer soy milk-based drinks and sweets, making it a cafe where you can easily enjoy soy milk and okara (soy pulp).
