Clarel is the beauty and care store of the DIA Group, where you will find a wide assortment of beauty products, personal care, hygiene, home goods, baby care and food, and pet products. What is our history? On February 1, 2013, the purchase of stores and warehouses belonging to the German chain Schlecker in Spain and Portugal by the DIA Group became effective. From this moment, a process of updating and improving them began, which culminated in the birth of the Clarel brand. The first stores in Spain under the Clarel brand opened on November 15, 2013, and from that moment on, an expansion process was carried out throughout the peninsula. To date, Clarel has 1,195 stores in Spain and 71 in Portugal. This positions Clarel as the brand with the largest number of points of sale in Spain. Most of these are company-owned stores, but some are operated under a franchise model. Clarel is a unique store concept in Spain, combining the best of a traditional drugstore and a perfumery, and completing it with assortments from other universes that will surprise you. Our assortment is made up of the best combination of our own brands and those of the most important national and international mass-market manufacturers. Clarel stores are neighborhood stores where our customers can find a wide offer at very competitive prices.
