A public health establishment, the Mont d’Or Geriatric Hospital is the second largest geriatric hospital in Lyon Metropolis. It meets all the specific care and reception needs of people over 60 years of age. In a pleasant setting and several recent buildings, it guarantees, with its medical and paramedical professionals, quality of care while respecting the rights of patients and residents. The establishment is composed of: 26 medical beds, 156 rehabilitation care beds (SSR), 5 day hospital places, 85 long-term care unit beds (USLD), 351 places in accommodation facilities for dependent elderly people (EHPAD). The geriatric hospital also has: a memory clinic, a radiology department, a laboratory (by agreement), a medico-psychological center with the Saint Cyr au Mont d’Or hospital, and an Internal Use Pharmacy (PUI).
