About Chassis Cab Ltd

At Chassis Cab, we’re proud to be a family-run DAF Trucks dealer with deep roots in East Anglia. Founded in 1982 in Bury St Edmunds as a commercial vehicle accident repair specialist, our business quickly evolved and expanded. Today, we’re a main dealer for market-leading DAF Trucks, with more than 200 dedicated team members across four locations. Over the years, we’ve grown into a multi–award-winning dealership, thanks to the hard work, integrity, and genuine commitment of our people. From day one, exceptional customer service has been at the heart of our business—and it remains our focus today. We take great pride in developing our people. Over 80% of our senior management team have been promoted internally, including our Service Director, who first joined us as an apprentice mechanic. The rest of our talented team bring the fresh ideas and energy that keep us moving forward as a growing organisation. Chassis Cab has a strong commitment to nurturing future talent. We have a policy of taking on new apprentices every year, providing hands-on experience, expert training, and long-term career opportunities. To recognise loyalty and commitment, we also operate a retention scheme designed to encourage apprentices to remain with the company through 5 and 10 years of service. We’re passionate about creating a supportive, respectful, and rewarding workplace where everyone feels valued. We continue to invest in our facilities and in the growth and development of our team, offering opportunities to build a fulfilling career with a company that truly cares.
