The Association des Cours Professionnels et de Perfectionnement pour les Préparateurs en Pharmacie was created in 1948. At that time, it was a place for social advancement where evening classes allowed students to acquire or supplement theoretical and practical knowledge. From 1975 onwards, daytime classes were added to the evening classes and were aimed at apprentices, who were now trained during their working hours. Since that date, thanks to aid from the Ile-de-France Regional Council, the teaching staff and management have continued to develop along with the Centre. The Planchat Centre was established in 1984 with 584 students and 17 teachers. Today, all CFPP employees, including trainers, managers, administrative and technical staff, numbering 70, can accommodate 1500 students in premises offering the most modern equipment. They help to give these young people the tools and mindset that will enable them to progress in their profession throughout their lives.
